  • Fixed problem of resizing graphs and plots by dropping an icon of another plot directly over the plot/graph that you would like to change.
  • Corrected conflict with Dvorak keyboards.
  • Corkboards are only relocated, not resized when opening a window in a location where you cannot see the title bar.
  • Fixes problem involving Mac OS 8.5 and hierarchical HyperView menus.
  • No longer crashes when nesting one discrete and one continuous factor.
  • Windows version now translates keydown characters that are created using Alt-number-number-number.
  • The action command “Loop”, “While” and “Repeat” will now work properly even if the body is empty.
  • When editing an icon name the Clear command in the Edit menu now works.

  • Fixes calculation errors involved in the Wilcoxon and Mann Whitney operations.
  • Calculates the correct cumulative counts for Bar Charts.
  • Clean datafile now detects orphan relations.
  • Fixes a problem involving derived variables that included missing values that would then be smoothed and then computed. Instead of reporting a missing value, Data Desk would report a zero.
  • Now displays an appropriate error message when an attempt is made to assign a hot selector to a hot relation. (Mac/Win)
  • Fixes a problem that caused the program to crash when sliders were moved to very negative values. (Win)
  • Fixes a problem that caused the program to crash when files with certain ANOVA results tables were converted from Mac to Windows. (Mac/Win)

  • Fixes a problem with the plot scale command that sometimes caused the plot to be scaled to values different than those that were input.
  • Fixes a problem that caused sliders to stick when the slider had been assigned a missing value. This problem would have been seen in the Custom Nonlinear Model template. (Win)
  • Fixes a problem with rounding of chi-squared value in frequency tables. (Mac/Win)
  • Fixes a problem that occasionally caused a dragged icon to be placed too far left by one position in windows that hold icons. (Mac/Win)
  • Fixes a problem that did not allow text variables to be appended to an action variable. (Mac/Win)
  • Fixes a problem when importing files that had both an open slide and other open windows. Only the slide would open when the file was imported. (Mac/Win)
  • Fixes problems with the derived variable functions “and”, “or”, “diff”, “=” and “<>”. The functions “and”, “or” and “diff” would not work if one argument was a vector and one argument was a scalar. The functions “=” and “<>” wouldn’t work when the arguments were boolean vectors. (Mac/Win)
  • Fixes a problem that caused the program to display a Type 1 error message when the program was inactive for several minutes. (Win)
  • Fixes a problem that caused the program to crash when a HotResult variable holding Smoothed values was plotted in a scatterplot overlay. (Mac/Win)
  • Fixed a problem that prevented the concatenate command from working with single case variables. (Mac/Win)
